The Steam Assist System introduces heat directly to the glue lines. Improve production speeds of multi-wall corrugated webs and heavy weight liners. The K&R Steam Assist bar introduces heat directly to the glue liner prior to bonding. The Steam Assist permits the starch adhesive to 'pre-gel' by raising the BTU level of the glue line before double backer.

The Ultra Folder Model 2660

The Ultra Folder is a high-speed, stream-feed folder-gluer at an affordable price.

A combination of feed rolls and vacuum belts gives positive control of the blanks through the machine, insuring quality folding and gluing. The Ultra Folder is available with a cold set adhesive applicator and a shingling compression sector on wheels. This permits operation of folder-gluer at right angles for squaring RSC's or straight line for tubes.

Apply wax to a medium or liner. Floor or bridge mounted available. K&R's Engraved Roll Type Wax Applicators have been tested and proven in the corrugated industry, using a straight paraffin was at temperatures between 200 and 220 degrees.

The K&R Engraved Roll Type Was Applicator offers the corrugated industry a complete wax control system for a combined board. This control is acheived by applying wax to a single web not combined board.

ACF Automatic Case Former

The ACF by K&R is specially designed to handle tough Double Wall and Square Box applications. One case at a time is shuttle-fed to an erecting station. Suction cups hold the opened case stable while the minor flaps are folded. Conveyor belts grip the case while the suction cups release for case transport to the major flaps power folders and taping device or hot melt system. Case is sealed at the bottom and exits machine.
